Yatsugumi is a small village in a mountainous area on the border between Tottori Prefecture and Okayama Prefecture. Since it is located in a mountainous area, the area that can be developed into arable land is of course small and small, with only a few 10 to 20 tsubo paddies scattered across the mountainous terrain as far as the eye can see. Perhaps due to the poor weather conditions, the crop yield is very low, and the villagers have been clamoring for more food, but in the end, only the production of staple food can barely sustain the needs of the village. Despite the harsh external environment, the villagers of Pat Tomb Village still managed to live a good life, mainly due to the two industries of charcoal burning and cattle breeding. Cattle breeding is a recent development, and charcoal burning has been the village's main livelihood since ancient times.
